KIU has its global affiliation with IITS under KEISIE International School of Education & Theology. IITS had found its roots in International prayer and Fellowship Association of USA which was formed by Dr. Victor Rosado in 1990 and coinciding with that Prof. Lakshman Madurasinghe established the International Institute of Theological Studies- IITS- USA as an Institute for teaching basic Theology, practical Christianity and Counselling principles to those engaged in ministry and to a wider audience of Christian Professionals worldwide. The Institute had the benefit of many visiting faculty members during this period including Dr.Paul.

Its Gulf branch was formed to educate, train and equip Christian leaders employed in the Gulf and was affiliated to selected inter denominational seminaries in USA and accredited by the Association of Schools and Colleges, Florida. Initially it trained around 200 committed persons in UAE, Bahrain and Qatar and thereafter its pioneering work continued under its affiliated School, The School of Ministry operating under Dubai City Church which imparted various programs of study to an average of 200 persons per year. Currently the Dubai City Church is celebrating its 15th anniversary. IITS is also representing KIU in Dubai for higher studies in Theology.

KIU has partnered with OIUCMED to introduce a new course on Complementary Medicines  which has a foundation for as long as since 1962. The WHO & UNICEF sponsored a conference in USSR at Alma Ata in the university of Kazakhstan, known as The ALMA ATA DECLARATION that defined a global strategy for public health and preventive medicine which epitomized as “HEALTH FOR ALL BY 2000 A.D.

The Open International University for Complementary Medicines with special emphasis to conduct an intensive clinical training program on various Complementary and alternative therapies worldwide, was established in 1987 as a privately funded postgraduate institute in Colombo, Sri Lanka. In March, 1988 onward, degrees are being conferred and training courses are being conducted under the U.N. theme “Health for all by the year 2000”. The Open International University for Complementary Medicines form part of this worldwide endeavor to improve educational and public health facilities by the year 2000 A.D.

Since then OIUCM has been in the forefront in developing and promoting Complementary and Alternative Medicines World Wide for the past three decades.The Affairs of the OIUCM is run by the board of directors appointed both locally and internationally by the Trustees of Medicina Alternativa. KIU has introduced course in Complementary Medicine in partnering with OIUCMED.

The Institute of Company and Commercial Accountants of Nigeria(ICCA) was incorporated with Corporate Affairs Commission, Abuja on March 19th, 1999 with RC: 353,005 as stipulated by Companies and Allied Matters Act 1990, as amended by Cap 20 of Law of Federation 2004.


INSTITUTE OF COMPANY AND COMMERCIAL ACCOUNTANTS OF NIGERIA (CHARTERED) ESTABLISHMENT ACT 2015 was sent to the National Assemblywith aclean copy vetted by Federal Ministry of Justice as per their letter dated December 30th, 2013 Ref. BILL 702/T and Federal Ministry of Education letter dated May 2nd, 2014 Ref. DE/ESS/20/EV/VOL.2/43 mandating us to forward the Bill for further Legislative processes.


The motion for the First Reading and Passage of the Bill for an ACT 2015 issued on an Order Paper 307 No. 74 and Listing ICCA BILL for an ACT 2015 at National Assembly Journal No. 10, Vol. 12 dated 2nd September, 2015 Bill No: HB.15.08.68.C1299-1335 was moved on 16th November, 2015 by Honourable ChikeOkafor of the Federal House of Representatives during the 8th National Assembly under Honourable YakubuDogara,


The 2nd Reading and Passage of ICCA Consolidated Bill for an Act 2015 by House of Representative whereby fifty (50) other accounting bodies will merge with ICCA is expected to be done as soon as possible.

ICCA Affiliation and Cross Recognition with KIU, South Korea

ICCA is the only indigenous accounting body in Nigeria to have signed an Affiliation Agreement with a foreign University which will enable her members to apply for Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral Degrees to build up on their professional knowledge with academicqualification in SMEs development, finance, forensic accounting, taxation, auditing and management consultancy which will impact positively on our nations’ economy.


ICCA had Affiliation and Cross International Recognition Agreement by signing Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with KEISIE INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY (KIU), SouthKorea on May 16th, 2016. We will soon conduct convocation for the first set of graduants on 21st January, 2017

The College was incorporated with Corporate Affairs Commission Abuja, Nigeria as stipulated by Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) as the training arm of Institute of Company and Commercial Accountants (Chartered) of Nigeria (ICCA) to offer professional education and training for Small and Medium Scale Enterprises Accountants. Our courses lead to the award of Accounting Technician Certificate and Associate Membership of ICCA.


The college offer courses leading to award of Accounting Technicians for Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (ATSM) and Associate Membership (ACCA).


The College also collaborates with other professional bodies and institutions both within and outside the country for academic and professional programmes of which Keisie International University, South Korea is one.


Associated members of the College will automatically be admitted for BSc, Masters and Doctoral Degrees of KIU-Nigeria and KIU-Ghana.
