KIU faculties are not only active in academics but are also seasoned professionals from various industry verticals. We at KIU, believe that education should not be restricted to old books of theories and policies but it should be a continual progression in a particular field which ought to be dominated by innovation and current happenings. The faculties don’t merely teach bookish knowledge but must involve in their teaching the experience of latest approaches & applications. Technology is changing so fast today that the curriculum meant for yesterday is no longer valid today. Moreover, there should be provisions for changes in even today’s curriculum as during one academic year, things change radically worldwide. Especially in research fields, by the time a research gets accomplished, new horizons open up in the same studies. Current affairs and current technologies ought to find their places in modern student’s study desk. The faculties of KIU have been empowered to mold the course while keeping the streaming of the main course intact.
Imagine law being taught at bachelor’s & master’s courses by practicing supreme court lawyers, or management being taught by real business owners, or finance by leading audit professionals. It makes a lasting impression if a subject is taught by the practicing professionals as they can blend the conventional theories with current happenings in the concerned area.
